Classic and vintage vehicles are quoted on inspection: older paint systems and materials require individual assessment. High-end luxury vehicles are handled on a bespoke basis to ensure the right level of care. Specialist vehicles such as motorhomes, campervans and agricultural vehicles are also quoted individually. What to expect
WHAT IS CAR DETAILING?
Detailing goes beyond a standard valet. It's a meticulous, multi-stage process focused on restoring and protecting your vehicle's paintwork.
DECONTAMINATION
Iron fallout, tar, and bonded contaminants are chemically removed before any polishing begins, essential for a true correction.
MACHINE POLISH
A rotary or dual-action polisher is used with Sonax compounds to remove defects from the clear coat, restoring depth and gloss.
PROTECTION
Once corrected, paintwork is sealed with a wax, sealant or ceramic coating for lasting protection against the elements.

DETAILING FAQ
A valet focuses on cleaning, removing dirt from the interior and exterior. Detailing goes further, using machine polishing to correct paintwork defects and applying protective coatings for long-term results.
Paint correction is a time-intensive process. Depending on the condition of the paintwork and the level of correction required, it can take anywhere from half a day to a full day or more.
A professional ceramic coating can last anywhere from 2 to 5 years depending on the product used and how well the vehicle is maintained. We use Sonax ceramic coatings, professional-grade products trusted by detailers worldwide. We'll advise on aftercare to maximise longevity.
Our Full Detail Clean is fully mobile and carried out at your location. For machine polishing and ceramic coating, the location will need to be agreed with the customer, depending on what they can provide, the work may be carried out at their property or at our location under a large canopy, weather permitting. We aim to eventually secure suitable premises to offer these services in the best possible environment and conditions.
All detailing services require a 50% deposit at the time of booking to secure your slot. The remaining balance is due on the day upon completion. Cancellations made with more than 48 hours' notice will receive a full deposit refund. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice are non-refundable. Same-day cancellations or no-shows may be charged the full service fee.
