PIR (Panel Impact Ratio) is the percentage of chemical that actually hits your car after passing through your pressure washer and foam lance, accounting for the extra water your lance draws in. You only need to calibrate once per setup.
Fill your foam lance bottle to its maximum capacity with plain water and note the volume. Set your lance to maximum foam output. Spray into a bucket until the lance is empty, then measure the total water collected.
